There are a couple areas on the site that boaters should check out and
start taking advantage of.
First, if you have something newsworthy, an event, a hazard, a drop in
flows, post it using the link in the left menu. This will put it on
the start page below the Intro Message.
Second, the bookmarks are an awesome resource. Go add your favorite
kayak sites, flows, anything that is of interest to boaters in the
region.
Third, the private messaging on the left menu. This has been
active, but only a few of us are using it. Use this to get a note to a
freind on the site without having to email, post something in the forums
or in the news.
Fourth, I know all of you have used equipment sitting around that should
be converted into cash. Put that stuff in the <a
href="http://www.kayakidaho.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=
PN_zClassifieds&file=index">classifieds.</a>
Finally, thanks everyone for participating. I see great things for this
site in the coming season. Let's keep it alive during the winter. Put
your suggestions that you would like to see discussed or brainstorms in
