The word is that the new generation of kids -- gamers -- hackers -- what-have-you, are out on summer vacation with nothing better to do than hack. These are the kind of people who would rather spend their weekends on a computer than on a river. I am not one of those people. Unfortunately, or fortunatly there are some of those people at the Kayak Idaho host. Hence the black out over the weekend due to a permissions change on the Server while I was out kayaking.
To complicate the problem, my access to the web is on a secure computer as well. So no java, and limited scripting. I can't change anything until I get to Boise on my days off.
I think I will name a rapid after this style of hack and counter-measure: Brute Force. I'm supposed to be kayaking not programming/hacking/dealing with security.
