The Idaho Department of Transportation
has closed the Free Banks Parking lots. Federal DOT specs required the IDOT to change the gaurd rail structures on the South Fork Bridge at Banks.
The US Forest Service or the River Access Fee Program were not involved. The land on the south east side of the bridge is Forest Service Land and has been plowed and reseeded.
