No Motorized BoatRegistration Meeting
User Rating: / 1
Wednesday, 16 July 2008

bad otterThe Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is holding a public meeting on July 17, 2008 to discuss the proposed non-motorized boat registration in Idaho.

This proposal is against your best interests as a boater, Idahoan and American! It is  an attempt to tax kayakers to pay for the antics of motorized boaters in the form of boat ramps on resevoirs we don't use, sherrif's patrols we don't want and search and rescue efforts that don't exist.

Please attend this meeting to protect your rights and to prevent yourself from being unfairly taxed. Be ready to discuss why you are opposed to this tax and how you pay to use the federal facilities, user fees, and river permits.

Thursday 17 July, 10am at the Idaho dept. of Parks and Rec. office on Warm
Springs Ave. 5657 Warm Springs Avenue, Boise ID  google map

Go to this meeting. Have your friends go. This is important.
